In these sessions, participants will be provided with an introduction to several of the EBPs that are essential to the success of a Discrete Trial program. The learning objectives include:

  • Awareness of the twenty-seven EBPs for ASD
  • Identifying the basic components of DTT format
  • Identifying the seven key principles of ABA to teach using DTT procedures
  • Awareness of curriculum guides that may assist in using discrete trial methods
  • Identifying the behavior classification of language based upon verbal behavior
  • The importance of data collection and analysis to improve instruction
