GRREC is pleased to present Kagan Cooperative Learning: Structuring for Active Engagement for special education and general education teachers and school administrators at all grade levels.

  • Create full student engagement with Kagan Structures—simple, yet powerful, cooperative learning instructional strategies.
  • Transform your teaching and student learning with strategies supported by a large body of scientific research, and proven effective in countless classrooms, schools, and districts.
  • Learn how easy it is to use teamwork and pairs to create a greater level of engagement than you imagined possible to engage ALL students, even your reluctant learners.
  • Reduce discipline problems by using cooperative learning strategies that engage all students.
  • Improve students' social skill development through use of structures that are cooperative and interactive.

Learn easy ways to use Kagan Structures as a part of every lesson, creating greater engagement, deeper understanding of the content, improved retention, and greater liking for class and content.  Kagan will give you the Seven Keys to unlock the door to successful cooperative learning.  If you want more fun in teaching, highly engaged students who love your classroom, and elevated test scores, this workshop is for you!

Rob Jutras has had the opportunity to have taught at elementary, middle, and secondary levels. Kagan Structures transformed his instruction and provided his diverse student population academic and social success. After being a Nationally Certified Trainer for Kagan for more than three years and a brief hiatus, Rob has returned, looking forward to helping teachers find the ease in which using structures transform student achievement. His passion, enthusiasm, and sense of humor provide his participants wonderful workshop opportunities.
