PASS Implementation
June 20, 2017
8:30 AM - 3:30 PM

Green River Regional Education Cooperative is pleased to offer “PASS Implementation Training."  Teams committed to implementing PASS, a highly structured behavior program, within their school/district for the 2017-2018 school year, are invited to attend.  The PASS Team typically consist of:  Building Administrator, PASS Coach, PASS Para-Educator, Guidance Counselor and General Education Teacher.

The Positive Approach to Student Success (PASS) program is founded on the belief that children with emotional and behavioral disabilities benefit behaviorally and academically from participation in the general curriculum. Program methodology focuses on teaching/coaching students to behave appropriately in general education or resource classrooms through consistent behavioral instruction, coaching and feedback from the Behavior Coach.

Participants will:

  • Develop an action plan for school implementation
  • Learn the phases of the PASS program
  • Establish roles of PASS team members
  • Review the role of the FBA, BIP and IEP in program planning for individual students
  • Learn how to use systematic collection and analysis of data to guide educational decisions for students using a function-based approach.

Online registration is not available for this team training.
